Summer is finally upon us. I know that for many of us busy working folks, it is nearly impossible to really get away for summer vacation. Are any of you planning great get aways? My husband and I are thrilled just to have 2 days off in a row, let alone maybe 3. Does anyone have a great suggestion in the southeast for a fun 3 day trip that is unique and fun? We need a break that is easy to get to.

Wow, have we been lucky here in Florida this spring. It is yet an unseasonalby cool ( like 78 degrees) day here and it is almost June 1. It is going to be a great day for an afternoon walk on the beach and an evening on the Sunset Deck on the top of my house.

Thanks for asking about my TV biz! Thngs are cooking prety good right now. I have things in the works with Travel Channel and Discovery's new PLanetGreen Network. I hope to do more with Fine Living as well. Its a crazy business. Fiest or Famine!
I have been a "spa goer" since 1988 and have never heard of such a thing.
However, the word "spa" is becoming generic for all kinds of experiences.
Also, the price for a manicure and pedicure seems very high but if the "space" and experience are very serene, soothing and relaxing it is well worth it.
I am off to a spa day tomorrow!
Enjoy your day!
PS What is your favorite spa treatment?
